Three days of preconference courses will continue to offer ABSA's highly regarded education programs for all levels of biosafety experience covering topics from aerobiology to virology. International Session
On Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 8am to 3pm, there will be a special international session featuring presentations from around the world on lessons learned in instituting biosafety programs. More detailed information will soon be available.

Credentialing Q&A Session
If you are considering applying to become a Registered Biosafety Professional (RBP) or a Certified Biological Safety Professional (CBSP) or if you are coming up for your recertification maintenance cycle, you will be interested in this session. Questions will be addressed on both the initial application and the recertification maintenance process. The Q&A session will be held on Monday, immediately following the Member's Business Meeting.

Affiliate and Biosafety Association Workshop
ABSA will again offer an Affiliate and Biosafety Association Workshop on Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 8am to 5pm. The workshop will provide an overview on biosafety association management issues through interactive exercises.
